DDA – 2021

I had the pleasure to work with KEENLY Berlin on the show package for Deutscher Digital Award (“German Digital Award”) and created a couple of shots for the opening sequence.
Find the whole project on KEENLY’s website here.

OPENING SEQUENCE

THE BRIEFING

“For this year's DDA (German Digital Award) ceremony, a trophy made of marble has been created for the first time. The staging of the trophy, both in terms of its form and materiality, should be the centerpiece of the show opener. The entire graphic identity of this year's event should be derived from the title sequence.” – KEENLY, Berlin

IDEA & CONCEPT

“The cinematic show opener embodies the conceptual idea of transformation and the materiality of the marble trophy. The victory goddess Nike of Samothrace, exhibited at the Louvre, represents the ancient world as a classical sculpture. The revision of the past initiates change and creates something new. Through the virtual deconstruction of the historical statue, the DDA trophy reassembles itself.” – KEENLY, Berlin
